The following pictures were all taken 2 days after D-Day in Omaha beach. I believe they are self explanatory. Most were taken by dad, but some weren't. Obviously, wherever you see him, it means the picture was taken by a mate of his.

In the left picture you can see my dad in the middle of the three sitting guys, he actually wrote ME and an arrow pointing to himself.

As my dad wrote at the top of the picture, this was the view from the landing boats at Omaha in 1944.
